Welcome to WoodJoyStudio! Have a custom design in mind? Let’s make it come to life! I handcraft every item and am very particular with details. I am a seasoned pen crafter, but I’ve also made many intricate necklaces as well, along with books, fairy houses, desks, birdhouses, and many other wood projects.
My greatest joy in running this business is seeing the reaction of someone receiving a piece perfectly crafted to embody the vision they have in mind, even if they don’t know how to work out every detail on their own. I always try and figure out what style the customer is looking for: What are your favorite colors? What kind of metal finish do you like? Do you want me to engrave a name or quote? Do you want the overall look to be: Rustic? Delicate? Ocean themed? Puppy enthusiast? There are so many options!
Once we get some details ironed out, I’ll sketch up some designs and send them your way with a quote for each one if it varies. Let me know what strikes your fancy and if there’s any added details or changes you would like to see and I’ll get to work.

Every piece at WoodJoysStudio is the result of 6-8 hours of dedicated craftsmanship. From selecting the perfect wood to shaping, sanding, and finishing, I pour my heart into each creation to ensure it meets the highest quality standards.

Workshop

With wood burning techniques, I add intricate designs, patterns, and personal engravings, making each piece one of a kind. Every step of the process—turning, sanding, burning, and finishing—is done with dedication and patience, taking 6-8 hours to bring each item to life.

About Me
I've always been a creater and entrepreneur. Starting with paper airplanes and boats sold to family members, I soon moved up in skill to loom knit beanies. I have a passion for creating with my hands, and people love what I make so how could I not sell it?
When I was 14 I decided to try my hand at woodworking. My dad has a woodshop and I asked him to show me how to make a birdhouse. After I made about a dozen of them along with many many other original projects I was hooked. I love the creativity I get to express. I love the problem solving aspect that makes my pieces unique. I love the smell of wood and seeing my creations bring others joy.
What really caught my attention was the lathe. I had never used one before so naturally I wanted to try. When I was 16 I got ahold of a mini lathe and started tinkering. Necklaces, bowls, and eventually pens a year later. These intricate projects really let my attention to detail and artistic flair shine. I love creating and it brings me so much happiness when others love what I make.
